Sorry I haven't posted the last couple of days, my emotions have been absolutely everywhere and I just didn't get round to posting. I keep crying on Gareth for simple little things, it's been crazy! But I'm feeling a bit better now, so I thought I'd post some photo's for you!
The mountains here really do look stunning.
And as Gareth said, you don't find many places in Britain where you have massive mountains leading down to the sea.
The waves here look so amazing, where it was so windy.
I found this little beauty whilst walking along the beach. I found two others too. I love crab shells, they are amazing.
And today me and Gareth went for a cycle, with several stops. Here's a couple of shots I got from one stop. It's all just mountains on this island.
And of course, one of us.
And a new shirt I bought myself. I love it, and Gareth thinks it looks more like a short dress.
Again, sorry for taking so long to post, I just haven't been myself the last few days.
Dormy Saz
Saz first off I'm glad to hear that you're feeling a bit more yourself, maybe you're homesick? I got a bit emotional at times while I was away in Australia and I know it was from missing my family and friends, my Abbie as well but then I'd do like you and find something to do.
ReplyDeleteI love your new top, it looks good on you.
The scenery where you are is so beautiful, where exactly are you? I know you've mentioned it before but my memory some days I tell ya! lol
Great photos and good to hear from you again!
Cheers... I hope you have a great weekend!
I think it is homesick, cause I'd phoned mum at one point, and then came in and ended up bursting into tears. I've been away from home for a while now, and I'm starting to miss everyone - but at the same time I want to keep living my life and going all these places with my job. At least I have Gareth to help me when I get those moods though. (: He really is like my rock, bless him.
DeleteThank you very much! I got it so cheap too, off a nice website, where everything is £5. I'm not sure what that would equate to in your currency, but it's cheap here for clothes.
We're on the Isle Of Arran, which is in North Ayrshire in Scotland. It really is absolutely stunning here, the views are amazing, the wildlife is amazing, and the beaches are amazing too! (:
Thanks, hope you have an amazing weekend too!
Saz it's natural to get homesick, you've never been so far away from home before have you? I never had been so far from home as when I'd gone to Australia and I also got bouts of homesickness and I'm double your age, if not more than double.
DeleteScotland, you are blessed! I've always wanted to go to Scotland and you bet it's on my bucket list. Are the people there as friendly as I'd imagine them to be? (Super friendly that is).
Have a wonderful day and thank goodness for instant communication, Skype kept me from getting too lonely when I was in OZ, that and all of my friends here on Blogger!
Nope, this is my first time away from home for a long time, and so far away from home too.
DeleteHaha, the people on the island are all very friendly, I'm not sure about on the main land, I suppose they are probably as friendly as people you'd meet daily anyway.
What a pretty place Saz - when I think of mountains, Scotland doesn't come to mind immediately, but it sure looks lovely there. Scotland is on my bucket list of places to visit.
ReplyDeleteGood for you to spread your wings - you're creating your own comfort zone. Home will be a great place to visit but once you leave for a while it will never feel quite the same.
Enjoy your weekend on your beautiful island.
Yeah, Scotland is a very mountain-y place. It's absolutely gorgeous. I'm basically on an island full of mountains, haha.
DeleteYeah, it's so much fun being out and about. A year ago I never even thought about the concept of leaving home - but now I'm glad I decided to go with this job, even though I'm missing everyone so much.
Thank you loads!
