I like it better too - very crisp and the angle of the books gives it a natural flow.
You could try another photo (with whatever subject) with a shallow depth of field - large aperture e.g. f2.8 or something like that and put the focus on one particular aspect of your subject - everything else will be out of focus thereby forcing the viewer to look only at what you want to highlight.
Saz, sorry I thought I got back to you here... I like this one much better. Just keep playing around with edits and shots and you'll get just the look you're going for. I don't do many edits, maybe a bit of cropping here and there but I've also been doing this P365 for over two years now so it's been a learning experience and tons of fun. I continue to learn and hope to be as good as Rick one day! :-)
I love this, it's got a focal point and the bottom book doesn't distract the eye to the bottom of the photo. Great job Saz! What do you think of it?
ReplyDeleteWell, once I did it I could see exactly what you meant by getting rid of the 'flare' from the bottom book! (:
ReplyDeleteI like it more then the other one I think. XD Thanks for the tips! (:

Thanks Rick. I'll give that a go at some point. (:
