Exploring

Hey guys! 

How are we all today? I'm doing pretty good, had another days work, but that's all done now, so I decided to update my blog. Me and Gareth decided to go for a drive to the shop earlier, as we needed some things, and we had a few hours spare between shifts, so we drove to the nearest village - which is about 15 miles away. So along the way, I was watching out the window, and he was at points too (whilst concentrating on the road of course) and we spotted some wildlife on the way there, then on the way back, we spotted more wildlife when we stopped by one of the coasts. (: And some more when we got back too! So we had a very wildlife day - but I won't tell you what we saw just yet, because you are going to find out via photo's that I have to add to this post. (: So here they are.

Day 182, 18th September 2011

Today's the last day for my 'My Best Friend' theme. This is Smell with her cat Jester, who we so lovingly refer to as 'fat cat', haha. I came home today, and my house is empty. I'm home all alone, because my mum and dad have gone camping. It's so quiet, going from a house full of hyperness (Not a word, but oh well!) , to a house that's just empty. Lol.

So we're finally in May now everyone! & I have one more photo for this weeks theme. I decided to use my friends oldest Australian Shepherd in this photo. He is called Monty. He is Woody's brother from a previous litter & he loves having his photo taken, as you can see.

Today I went for a photo of my friends youngest Australian Shepherd. His name is Woody & he is a little sweetheart. He loves the camera, so he let me take this photo, he then walked off, so there you go. How lucky am I? Haha.

So today I went with a dog portrait again as I was at the rescue again. This dog is called Bruce&he is an absolutely gorgeous staffie! He loves to cut people up though! He weaves in front of you as you walk. I did try to get a full body photo, but he refused to leave my side when I was taking the photo's, so I went with just a head photo. (:

So today I decided instead of having a person for my portrait photo, I'd use a dog. I do volunteer at Binfield Dog Rescue, walking the dogs&such. So I used my favourite one, Sasha. She's an American Bulldog, 7 months old. & she is lovely! She's recently had an operation on her eyes, you can probably notice the stitches, because she had interned eyelids. But she is fully recovered now! Just have to hope it won't come back. But she is on hold&goes to her new home on 1st of May. (:

So today I decided I was going to go with the good old traditional Easter gimmick. The good old Lindt bunny! (: They are EVERYWHERE at the moment, quite literately. & you can win a cinema trip if you buy one, if your club card gets picked as the winner in Tesco's. Haha. Anyway, I hope you like today's photo. I want one, but again, no money. Plus I'm *trying* to cut back on chocolate, as the doctor has said too much caffeine is causing cysts in my breasts.. So yeah. Fun times, trust Easter to come around when I want it the most, haha.

I decided to go with a photo of my new favourite bear, in his 'Easter' theme. His name is Boofle. Here's his story, for those who don't know.

"Grandad's woolly cardy had seen better days. It was still soft and cosy, but a little bit frayed. There were holes in the elbows, and just one button remained, but, from this, Nanny was sure something else could be made.......So she started to sew on that cold winters night and Boofle was born, much to the childrens delight. Boofle was all that a snugglesome pup should be. Loveable and cuddly and a best friend to you and me. xxx"

Well, it's my last day doing the relationship theme&I must say, I struggled trying to think of something to take a photo of that would go with the theme. So I had a look around the house&spotted this elephant ornament that my mother owns&decided it would be perfect! It shows the true relationship between elephants&I believe that the human race could learn a thing or two from elephants where relationships&friendship are concerned! (:
